Update!

I didn't really make anything today. I take my grandpa out to eat every other week for 'quality time.' This is because a) he's alright, and 2) It's either that or he starts ordering me to do things for him like close a window, or fix the screen door, or throw out century old spices from his cupboard. I think i fix his record player on a daily basis, which would probably make you think i'm not fixing it right, but i'm 99.9% positive i am. My theory is that he breaks it everyday so i'll go down and say hello to him. One day i was like, "Popou, i'll come down here anyway, you don't have to keep breaking your tuner," and he gave me this look like, 'what are you, an idiot?' So i didn't push it (also i'm not the one who breaks a record player on a daily basis pop). Glad i could share that with you.

Anyway i woke up way too early for our breakfast expedition, and now i'm pretty bored. I tried teaching myself to knit, but it wasn't as successful as i hoped (not successful at all).

Also i had to wind the string into a ball, and now i have so much love and affection for this ball of yarn i can't even describe it to you.

I keep carrying it around the house with me, and one time Harvey tried to steal it, so i threw her outside. Also i tried to model the hat my sister knit me (which started this whole process) on her, and she totally blew me off. Whatever.

I didn't get to take any pics of the 'knitting in process' because my mom took her camera to work today to do work stuff (the nerve of that woman). Also my dad made chocolate muffins, and after our huge breakfast cooking anything was out. So my day at this point is about as interesting as this blog post (not at all). Tgf work later.

Here's a garden update:

It's coming along pretty well, even the potatoes:

Still waiting on the blackberries though. Here's a prison wine update:

Yup still looks exactly the same. It tastes like a not quite developed wine/sour grape juice, but it def has alcohol in it. I think i'm going to put it in the basement for a year and see what happens. Gorilla wine making (sort of)!

Anyway, the end.
